About

At TEC4Industry, we believe that technology is the key lever for building a smarter, more sustainable, and competitive industry. Our purpose is to accelerate the digital and sustainable transformation of the industrial sector, promoting the integration of scientific knowledge, technological development, and innovation aimed at economic and social impact. We act as a bridge between applied research and the real-world challenges faced by companies, driving solutions in areas such as intelligent automation, cyber-physical systems, digital twins, artificial intelligence, industrial sustainability, and more.

Challenges

The industrial sector is undergoing a profound transformation, marked by structural challenges such as digitalisation, sustainability, resilience, and talent acquisition. Many companies struggle to adopt digital technologies in ways that align with their strategic goals. Regulatory and societal pressures demand a reduction in the industry’s environmental footprint. Decarbonisation and energy efficiency have become essential factors for competitiveness. The fragility of value chains and the shortage of digital skills call for a more autonomous, adaptable industry that values and nurtures talent.

Value Proposition

We position ourselves as a strategic platform that supports industry with a holistic and personalised approach, guaranteeing a systemic and strategic vision that aligns technology, processes and people with the strategic objectives of each organisation. We contribute to science-based solutions that create value for companies and foster competitiveness; we accelerate collaborative innovation, fostering multidisciplinary projects and consortia with companies, knowledge centres and public actors, acting as a catalyst for market-oriented innovation. We reduce technological and operational risk, supporting companies in the selection, testing, and implementation of technologies, thereby lowering the uncertainty associated with digital and ecological transformation; we empower through applied training and facilitate the transfer of knowledge that facilitate the adoption of excellence in industrial engineering practices.
