Paulo Martins

Paulo Martins

Paulo Martins is Associate Professor at the Engineering Department at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) and Senior Researcher at the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC), in Portugal. He received a PhD from UTAD, in 2005, and participated in more than 20 European or National funded projects. His main research interests are Technology-Enhanced Learning, Serious Games, Accessibility and Data Science Technologies, and he has several scientific publications in these fields, in journals, conferences and books. He has a large experience in the coordination of MSc and PhD students in the Informatics areas courses, since 2006. And he has also a large experience in Academic Management at the Directions of BSc, MSc and PhD programs, and he was, from 2017 until 2021, the Director of the Engineering Department at UTAD.
