
About the Project
GREENH2ATLANTIC, is an innovative project that aims to develop a first-of-a-kind 100 MW electrolysis plant in Sines, Portugal, supplying green hydrogen to a local refinery and blending in the natural gas grid. GREENH2ATLANTIC will have a relevant contribution to reach the GW scale electrolysis needed to achieve the decarbonization targets, by demonstrating the competitiveness of green hydrogen production while repurposing existing infrastructures of a decommissioned coal fired power plant, also contributing to the just transition of a region.
