Nuno Alexandre Pereira
Senior Researcher
Nuno Pereira (PhD, U. Minho, 2010; orcid.org/0000-0001-6370-9373) is a Professor at the School of Engineering of the Polytechnic of Porto (ISEP). He is working on the infrastructure needed to create Mixed Reality distributed applications that seamlessly span the Cloud and Edge. I'm one of the main contributors to ARENA (Augmented Reality Edge Networking Architecture). Between 2019-2022, he was a Visiting Scholar at Carnegie Mellon University and the Executive Director of the CONIX Research Center. Nuno had relevant contributions to 12 research projects (European and National), published more than 60 technical papers, and served on technical program committees of numerous scientific events.
