
Maria da Graça Barbosa
She has been a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Board since May 2021, currently serving for the mandate 2024-2026. In this body, she has diversity & inclusion, gender equality, ethics, conflict of interest management, legal support, risk management, and compliance as primary areas of responsibility.
She graduated in Law from the School of Law of the University of Coimbra, in 1986.
She joined INESC in December 1990, as a legal adviser of the Pole of Porto.
1996-2014: Head of the Department of Information and Logistics, which remained a central support service after INESC Porto’s autonomy, in 1998.
Executive Advisor to the Board for Management Support since 2014, Head of Human Resources Service until the end of 2019, and Head of Legal Support Service until October 2021.
2017–2021: Member of the Committee for Conflicts of Interest Management.
2019-2021: Member of the Working Group for Gender Balance + Diversity & Inclusion.
