Dennis Lourenço Paulino
Assistant Researcher
Dennis Paulino obtained his Master's degree in Informatics from UTAD in December 2018. Between September 2016 and December 2018, he participated in the NanoStima RL2 - PassusMobile project, based on the development of a system that monitors exercise in people with peripheral arterial disease. In May 2024, he obtained the title of Doctor in Informatics at UTAD (which he attended with a scholarship funded by the FCT), obtaining unanimous approval. The primary objective of his thesis was to enhance the cognitive capabilities of digital workers (including a study with neurodivergent individuals) by aligning them with the most suitable digital work tasks. He currently serves as an Assistant Researcher at INESC TEC, where his research interests lie in the domain of Human-Computer Interaction, particularly in the areas of Accessibility and Digital Work. He has authored over 30 publications in international journals and conferences, and has collaborated with the organization of several international conferences and participated in numerous national and international research and development projects.
